I must say this i do like your blog and to be honest i came across your blog through a comment on another blog (http://www.going-places-blog.com/2009/05/dating-korean-guy-in-korea.html)
But anyways lol I wanted to get a general idea about korean men and what they are like. Lately I have been wondering how it would be for myself to date a korean guy. Now i never encountered a korean guy , but with hopes if I do go away and meet or meet one some day, is IF tbey would like me.. Cause I am mixed chinese and indian, and from what Ive seen on other sites, most of them date their own kind. what are your views on this, and where do you think would be a good idea to find a nice looking korean guy lol-

What do i do?
Okay, so im in high school and the guy i like is korean. hes like everything to me. I go crazy when i cant see him and even when i get to see him my heart beats so fast. I recently found out that hes my friends family friend. And she know i like him, i even told her to tell him that “someone likes you but shes not convinced that youll have feeling for her”. I know i made a mistake, but i just cant help it. I even know that nothings going to happen because hes 3 years older than me, but hes my first love. Im hoping that something could happen that why i turned to you for advice. Please help.-
I really wish I could help you, but I don’t know what to say. Just because he is Korean doesn’t help me know how you can make him like you.

Hi i’m a student from the us i’m currently in relationship with this korean guy. I met him at a one social networking site. he always says that he loves me but he can’t give me his time. he will not send me any messages unless i’m the first one to lnitiate. we been together for 4 months now before he always have time for me even though he is busy he still send me messages but now he just changed. Everytime i want to break up with him he always stop me and says that he want to stay with me. I love him but i’m tired waiting what should i do?

Hey i am a bruneian. i met one korean guy on a dating tv show in china. At first i wasnt paying much attention to him. after knowing some things about me and asking me questions he decide to confess to me (the rules of the show is to confess to the girl/guy u like). he seems to listen to everything i say. he said i am his type and what not. but because i thought he was faking it i rejected him and told him i like another guy (the show arranged me to confess to this guy) and then when we finished filming the show he then told everyone that he\’s feelings for me was real. and i didnt know. he also came to me and hugged me and left. the day after we were leaving the filming location and he asked me for my contacts. he seems eager and then i told him i will make a weibo account (its a chinese version of twitter). when i talk to him he seems a little interested in me. he even asked me if i really like the other guy (the one that the show arranged me to like) i told him no. and he was so caring to me. after that he seems to stop talking to me. is that weird? now i feel like i have feelings for him. which was unecessary before he confessed to me that he liked me. now im not sure if he likes me or not. or shud i continue to like him.

This is really an incredible story. But I really don’t think you can switch feelings on and off as neccessary. Or can you?

Im in a long distance relationship with my Korean boyfriend…… i love him very much and i know he also do..he’s busy now because he’s preparing for a transfer exam at Yonsei University..We hardly talk to each other now… but he said “wait for me”.. and i trust him…but i just wanna ask…How hard is it to enter into a university in Korea? and how can i support him, i mean make him feel that im here for him…

On average, acceptance rate to Yonsei University is 20:1. For some popular major is 100:1.
His exam is going to be around 6 months from now. Do you think you can wait like this for 6 months? You are in love then it must be very difficult for both of you. But I think you should talk at least few times a week. Even for just 10 minutes.
I don’t think he should just try so hard to forget about his love so he can concentrate and the finally get into the school and magically fall in love again.
I don’t know who told him that he shouldn’t have both. That to study he needs to get rid of something else. But I believe the most important thing is motivation. Love can be a big motivation.

I have a Korean male friend who occasionally sends me texts telling me how much he cares for me. He even sent a text that read, “에린이 너무 좋아”. My Korean friends all tell me that is not a normal thing for a guy to say unless he’s interested in a woman. The problem is, he has a girlfriend. Also, he never says these things in person. My friends think his intentions are not good and that I should stop talking to him. Is it possible that he is saying these things out of friendship without understanding how I’ll interpret them? Or am I just being naive?

에린이 너무 좋아 means that he likes you in a way that would make his girlfriend very mad and hurt.
